Snapdragon key visual: one platform, every device
Tessarakt for Qualcomm India · June 2026

It's already a Snapdragon world.

Students and shoppers live inside the Snapdragon ecosystem today. Two plans make them see it, feel it, and buy into it.

Today the student asksWhich Intel laptop?
We make them askIs it a Snapdragon?

The Brief

What we are solving together

Snapdragon X Series PCs are two years into India. Smartphone equity is strong, PC awareness is not yet. The mandate: brand consistency, college activations, community engagement.

Workstream 1

Campus

Build awareness, consideration, and purchase preference among premium students. Activations from August, aligned to the 8 August sales window.

Workstream 2

Retail

A 100 sq ft World of Snapdragon experience in about 80 Croma and Reliance Digital stores. One national design, live devices, built to sell.

One message

Three benefits, everywhere

AI on the device. Battery beyond the day. Performance for everything. No tier jargon.

World of Snapdragon

One platform, every screen in an Indian life

Snapdragon is not one product. It is the platform behind the devices people already own. This story powers both plans.

Smartphones

8 Elite flagships

Samsung, OnePlus, Realme, iQOO, Xiaomi.

PCs

Snapdragon X Series

Copilot+ PCs from Lenovo, HP, Dell, Asus, Samsung and Microsoft. AI runs on the device, battery runs past the day.

Smart glasses

Ray-Ban Meta

Runs on Snapdragon AR1.

XR

Meta Quest 3

Runs on Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2.

Audio

Snapdragon Sound

Bose, Bowers and Wilkins, Denon and more.

Mobility

On Indian roads

Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e, Tata Harrier EV, BMW cockpits, Royal Enfield Flying Flea.

The big idea

Pull the plug. The AI keeps going.

One gesture proves the whole story. Cut the internet and a Snapdragon laptop keeps generating, because the AI runs on the device, not in the cloud. It is the demo no phone brand can copy, and it is the same hero moment in every store and on every campus.

The Experiences

Make the invisible chip the hero

Five signature experiences across retail and campus. Each one turns on-device AI, battery and performance into something a person can feel in seconds.

What Unlocked does on the ground

Social media content with OEM devices
Concept: always-on social content
Always on

Social media content, use case first

The layer that runs before, during and after every activation. Short, real content showing what students actually do on Snapdragon devices, the AI workflow, the battery, the performance, co-created with OEM partners so the exact laptop on the shelf is the one on screen. It seeds awareness ahead of the ground game and keeps it warm between events.

  • Device use cases, made and shot on the OEM laptops
  • Published on Snapdragon channels and amplified by the chapters
  • Co-branded with OEM partners, from screen to shelf
Motion concept
Motion concept: the Createathon

AI Paathshala

Learn to build, not just to use

A hands-on teaching series on Snapdragon laptops. We take students from a circuit to a use case: Arduino and edge sensors, a working IoT or robotics build, and the on-device AI that runs it. Plus creative AI tracks for designers and creators. It runs on the device, so it works even when the campus Wi-Fi does not.

  • Arduino, edge devices and real use cases, built and explained
  • Tracks for creators, designers, coders and founders
  • Industry mentors and AI partner tools, hands on the keyboard

The next chapter

Plan Back to Campus, build FY27

Review the season, retain the top ambassadors, and plan the next academic year so the program returns bigger and scales into FY27.

The Numbers

Approximate reach

Planning estimates drawn from the partner college network and public festival footfall. Final numbers are confirmed per campus at lock-in.

355colleges mapped across 50 clusters
245Tier 1 colleges, year one priority
10 L+students in the activated footprint, approx
500+campus ambassadors
5 L+direct experiential interactions: kiosks, Paathshala, immersion, fests, approx
6 L+combined footfall across the top 5 festivals, approx
3-5 Crsocial and UGC impressions across the season, approx

Plan 02 · Retail

World of Snapdragon, in 100 square feet

The first Snapdragon Experience Zone opened at Croma Juhu in February 2025. This plan scales that idea: one national design, about 80 stores, built for the curious first time shopper.

100 sq ftone footprint, fits Croma and Reliance Digital without customisation
80stores pan India, global rollout ready
6live device categories on display
2data layers: anonymous telemetry, consented leads
Motion concept
Motion concept: the zone in a Croma store
The zone

An ecosystem, not a product shelf

Every device is live: phone, laptop, glasses, XR, audio, and miniature cars for the automotive story. The layout shows them working together, so a shopper sees a world, not a shelf.

Ecosystem discovery table render
Concept: lift and learn table with automotive miniatures
The interaction

Lift a device, the story follows

Pick up any device and the table tells its story, with light tracing back to one Snapdragon mark. Lift the miniature car and the cockpit demo plays. Simple, rugged, and every lift is logged.

The 10-Second Studio concept render
Concept: the 10-Second Studio and its alter ego wall
The signature moment

The 10-Second Studio

Sit at an X Series laptop, pick a vibe, and the AI turns your photo into your alter ego in about ten seconds, right in front of you. A cloud tool would queue and buffer, this runs on the laptop, so it stays instant even on a busy store day. The speed is the proof.

  • Ten seconds, on the laptop. The speed is the on-device AI demo.
  • Pick your vibe: gamer, creator, coder, racer, anyone
  • Your portrait is the souvenir and the lead. The claim screen carries the intent survey.
The Magic Switch
Concept: the Magic Switch
The proof

The Magic Switch

One physical lever between two screens running the same AI task. Pull it and Snapdragon races ahead while the legacy chip lags. No spec sheet needed, the shopper watches the gap open in real time.

The chip exploded to reveal the NPU
Concept: the chip, exploded
The centerpiece

The Chip, Exploded

An oversized Snapdragon chip floats apart at the heart of the zone to reveal the glowing NPU core, the part that makes the AI run on the device. The invisible hero, finally something you can stand in front of.

Fun layer

The Dragon Hunt

Five small fireball marks hidden across the store, each with an NFC tap. Find all five, win a sticker pack and a discount coupon at the zone.

Fun layer

Beat the battery

A running day counter shows how long the demo laptop has lived off one charge. Shoppers guess the number before they see it.

Fun layer

Campus on screen

The zone screen features a Campus Creator of the Month, so student work from the campus program plays inside the store.

Three sizes, one system

What never changes across all three: the brand system, the ecosystem story, the lift and learn principle, live devices, the telemetry stack, and the exit survey.

Snapdragon Store · The Bridge

Where campus meets retail

The store is not a separate plan, it is where the campus program cashes in. Qualcomm already proved the offline zone at Croma Juhu. We add the gaming loop, the creator layer, and the part no chip or phone brand has closed: ambassadors making content from the store, with every store mapped to its nearest colleges.

In-store gaming and creator activities
Concept: gaming and creator zones in store
7A · In store

Gaming and creator activities

A reason to come back, and a reason to share. A BGMI try-and-win with a live leaderboard turns a one-time demo into repeat footfall, riding Snapdragon's own Pro Series. Alongside it, a creator station where shoppers and students make content on the devices, every clip a geotagged share for that store.

  • Gaming: try-and-win, weekend demo battles, in-store qualifiers
  • Creator: AI photobooth, shot-in-store reels, livestream weekends
Ambassador making content in store
Concept: ambassador creating content in store
7B · Ambassador to store

Ambassadors make content from the store

Each campus ambassador is assigned their nearest Snapdragon zone. The monthly brief includes a shoot at the store: a demo, a gaming session, a reel. The content tags the store and carries a campus code, so footfall becomes attributable per ambassador. This is the Red Bull marketeer model, pointed at retail, which no smartphone or chip brand has done.

Store to college mapping
From the Command dashboard: store to college map
7C · Store ↔ college

Every store mapped to its nearest colleges

Catchment mapping links each store to the five to ten colleges around it, then concentrates ambassadors, content and the sale push there. Location-led targeting reports real footfall lift, and the win is shared: Snapdragon reaches its Gen-Z buyers where they are, and the retail partner gets a co-marketed footfall engine pointed at the most valuable demographic, with attribution.

The Control Room · Live Prototype

Snapdragon Command

One dashboard for the whole program. Campus and retail activations in a single live view: colleges and store zones live, content output, footfall, conversion lift, the college leaderboard, and the store to college map.

Layer 1 · Anonymous telemetry

How the experience performs, and how we capture it

  • Engagement and capture rateCroma and Reliance Digital already count store footfall at the door. That is our denominator. Our fixtures and the promoter app count zone engagement. No cameras to install.
  • Every device lift: which, how often, how longA sensor under each plinth fires when a device is picked up and set down. The lift and learn mechanic is also the meter, no app, no scan needed.
  • Demo sessions per stationThe demo laptops run a kiosk launcher that logs the app opened, session length, and how many AI outputs were made.
  • QR and NFC tapsIn compact, self serve fixtures every QR scan and NFC tap is the count. In flagship and standard zones they add to the sensor data.
  • Promoter app, the human layerIn staffed zones the promoter logs demos given and interactions on a tablet, the same way trained in-store promoters already report across Indian retail.

Brand lift

Short pulses before and after each activation track the shift per campus.

Measurement

Judged on sales and intent

Retail is measured against purchase, campus against preference. With 80 zones, matched control stores make conversion lift a real number.

Proposed exit survey, under twenty seconds: which device did you try, did you know Snapdragon powered it, how likely is your next device to be Snapdragon powered. Opt in comes after, never bundled.

The Mapped Network

355 colleges, mapped and tiered

The activation list is not a wishlist. Every college is drawn from the Blend mapped network, sorted by city tier and clustered to a metro, so on-ground depth, store mapping and budget all run by priority.

Tier 1 · metros
245 colleges

The year-one priority. Full on-ground: immersion week, Createathon, AI Paathshala, an ambassador chapter, and a mapped Snapdragon store nearby.

Tier 2 · regional hubs
93 colleges

Ambassador and content led, plus festival presence and the Jan to March sale push. Scaled up to full activation as the season proves out.

Tier 3 · emerging
17 colleges

Digital first and ambassador led: the Edge Pass, social content and sale awareness, with a light on-ground touch.

Delhi 20Bengaluru 20Chennai 20 Hyderabad 20Kolkata 20Mumbai 10 Pune 10Jaipur 10Ahmedabad 10 Noida / Ghaziabad 1050 clusters · 23 states · 4 regions

How we handle it, simply

  • Tier sets the depth. Tier 1 gets the full on-ground program, Tier 2 gets ambassador, content and fests, Tier 3 is digital first. Same playbook, dialled to the budget per college.
  • Roll out by cluster. One team works a metro cluster at a time, so kits, the mobile studio and the Paathshala gear move efficiently instead of criss-crossing the country.
  • One lead per college. A single accountable ambassador per campus runs the chapter and is the contact for everything on the ground.
  • Mapped to the nearest store. Every college is tied to its closest Snapdragon zone, so campus and retail share one catchment and one set of numbers.
  • Tracked in Command. Tier, status, content and footfall for all 355 sit in the live dashboard, so the priority order is always visible.
Year-one sequence

Tier 1 first, then widen

Launch the 245 Tier-1 colleges across the metro clusters from August, prove the model through the festival and sale season, then phase in Tier 2 and Tier 3 as ambassadors and stores come online. Nothing is activated blind, every college already has a tier, a cluster and a store.
